The West Kootenay EcoSociety hosts the Nelson Market Fest during the months of June through to August on the last Friday of each of the months. Local craft vendors local talent and hundreds of local participants and tourists attend the Fest. This event is designed to promote community spirit. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with sponsoring a portapotty for the last two scheduled Fests on July 29 2011 and August 19 2011.
