The Nelson Pilots Association will be hosting the Nelson Flightfest on August 6 2011 at the Nelson 'Norman Stibbs' Airport. This is an airshow with a static display of old and military aircraft. There will also be flying demonstrations that include aerobatics with real and model aircrafts. During the airshow there will be airplane and helicopter rides available. This event is open to the public with entry by donation. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event
