Slocan District Chamber of Commerce will be hosting New Denver Merchants' Night in New Denver on December 6 2012. This event is intended to encourage people to shop locally for gifts during the holiday season to support businesses in New Denver and surrounding areas. There will be a visit from Santa by local volunteer firefighters singing by the Valhalla Community Choir and snacks and refreshments served by volunteers. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
