The Kootenay Region and the Cranbrook Skating Club are hosting Pacific STARSkate 2011 on March 4th 6th at the Cranbrook Rec Plex. This is an annual provincial figure skating competition whereby skaters qualify through their own region to represent their clubs and their region. This if the first time that this competition has been hosted in the Kootenays and the first provincial figure skating competition hosted by Cranbrook since 1975. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
