Columbia Basin Trust funds will be used to offer Peace Camps to youth at the Tipi Camp in Pilot Bay. The basis of the camps are to build a respectful environment supportive of the practice and fostering of patience and non violent communication skills. With Peace Camps youth dive deep into meaningful issues around peace and conflict in the world through heightened communication thus providing an atmosphere where the innate wisdom of youth is celebrated and therefore ultimately shines through not only at camp but in individuals' greater lives.
