Pine Butte Ranch consists of open rolling grasslands and hayfields situated on St. Mary's Prairie 10 km northwest of Cranbrook BC. The portion of the ranch that NCC is purchasing is adjacent to the recently completed Wycliffe Wildlife Corridor. As well the conservation covenant on the remaining titles of the ranch connect the TLC and NCC properties to the crown land to the east St. Mary's Reserve and The Nature Trust's property along the Kootenay River.
