This project is a people helping people program to assist in feeding the hungry in Golden and surrounding area. The Canadian Association of Food Banks and The Composting Council of Canada have teamed up to encourage Golden's gardeners to grow a little extra and donate the produce to the Golden Food Bank Society. Nathalie Callene of the newly formed Golden Community Garden committee is leading this initiative.
