Funding for this project will support the establishment of a Product Club for Nature based Tourism Providers under the umbrella of the Canadian Tourism Commission in the Columbia Basin. It will also support the development of a nature based tourism industry that is environmentally and culturally responsible and promote learning about the Columbia Basin at the time of David Thompson's explorations 200 years ago compared with today.
