The BC Provincial Baton Association (BTABC) has an annual competition open to registered baton clubs throughout British Columbia. Invermere was selected as the host community and as such will be responsible for the organization of the event in May 2010. There is expected to be eight teams over 160 athletes plus the associated team support. Children ages 5 to 10 years of age and their families will be coming from the Lower Mainland Central Interior and southern Alberta. CBT funds will be used to support prizes and awards for the event including ribbons medals and engraved trophies.
