This project will support the Regional District of Central Kootenay to implement the FireSmart Home Partners Program, which will help residents identify actions to reduce wildfire risks on their properties, and complete Wildfire Pre-plans, which will support Wildfire Mitigation Specialists to collect data to inform the development of wildfire pre-plans and emergency planning zones throughout the RDCK.
