The Regional District of Central Kootenay will improve wireless internet and voice over internet protocol telephone reception in the Castlegar & District Recreation Centre, the regional designated Emergency Reception Centre and Group Lodging Centre, to ensure emergency service volunteers can connect to the online Evacuee registration and Assistance tool and provide required support in emergency situations.
