The Nelson Fine Art Centre Society will be hosting the Requiem for a Glacier between January 3 - February 8 2014. Opening night artist talk and a school tour is expected to draw over 300 people from Nelson and surrounding area. This project is a wonderful example of community collaboration and participatory practices. The Nelson Fine Arts Society plans to produce a catalogue of the exhibition and the making of the work they feel is sure to go down in kootenay art history.
