The Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy (CBAL) addresses literacy issues in the Basin by ensuring that all communities in the Basin have access to a range of literacy programs and support services for children and their families adults and seniors including reading writing numeracy health financial and computer literacy support; and by ensuring that literacy programs and support services are based upon community defined literacy priorities.
