The Slocan Solutions Society will work towards establishing a community based monitoring program to assess flora and fauna species and there abundance and distribution in wetlands and riparian habitat throughout the Slocan watershed. As a means of increasing community capacity local technicians and volunteers will be trained to monitor wetlands in the future.
