The Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism Society received funding for the Spirit of the Waterfront project a community initiative that celebrates the beauty and diversity of the local wildlife and the natural waterfront environments that make the region unique while enhancing the visual aesthetic of the City of Nelson's main thoroughfare for local residents and visitors to the community.
