The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary will purchase the necessary equipment to build two Sprinkler Protection Units. One until will be located in Trail and the other in Grand Forks. Once the Sprinkler Protection Units are deployed they will reduce the fire risk to structures from a wildfire across the Regional District. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this project.
