The Regional District of Central Kootenay will be purchasing a Class 2 SPU and equipment to complete the existing Class 3 SPU in the Kaslo area. This project will increase the ability to protect structures and critical infrastructure in the event of wildfire/interface events. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this project.
