This project will enhance knowledge about wetlands in the Slocan Valley. Local residents will assist in the identification of wetlands for restoration by developing an inventory of desirable characteristics for candidates sites. Use of citizen scientists in this phase of the project will increase local knowledge of wetlands and help to improve environmental stewardship in the Slocan valley.
