A Project Steering Committee was brought together to develop recommendations regarding a terrestrial conservation/restoration strategy for the Columbia Basin. The committee was asked to develop a strategy for a funding process for fiscal year 2000/2001 and to develop a framework for long term decisions on funding in future years.
