Kootenay Cash an informal network of representatives from Kimberley Fernie and Nelson's local currency groups is bringing Michael Linton an expert on community currency development to the Columbia Basin in an effort to build understanding of and support for community currencies in the region. These public presentations will be held October 27th 28th and 30th in Fernie Kimberley and Nelson respectively. CBT Funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
