To sponsor the second annual "Celebrate the Columbia A BC Rivers Day Event" in Trail BC on September 26 2004 which will bring together approximately 800 attendees as well as 20+ groups/organizations and will make a tremendous contribution to increasing understanding and appreciation of the river and to furthering sustainable development efforts. This free community family oriented event promotes a sustainable viewpoint with regards to the Columbia River and supports stewardship practices that will benefit communities socially economically and environmentally for decades to come.
