The program is a bursary style program to be delivered through the existing network of publicly funded Employment Assistance Service Centres currently providing education and training advice to Basin residents. Grants may be used to pay all or part of tuition or course fees for short courses which have direct links to employment. Funds will be paid directly to the education or training institution on behalf of the student. Recipients must have exhausted all other sources of subsidies or grants available for this purpose. Grants may be to a maximum of $500.00. Funds may be accessed one time only.
