The Castlegar Friends of Parks & Trails Society (2001) will establish the Trans Canada Trail (TCT) route through Castlegar to Nelson and from Castlegar to Trail in time for the official opening of the coast to coast TCT on Canada's 150th birthday on July 1 2017.
