This is an after school program that connects students with their community and build resiliency skills. The youth mentorship component will have youth from Stanley Humphries Secondary School come to Twin Rivers Elementary School after school on weekdays to mentor and work with children in grades 6 and 7 in an after school program. Youth will be mentored by the coordinators of the program who have a strong background in youth programming. The youth will have the opportunity to gain skills from a number of community partners including: School tutoring .Youth will have training sessions on "homework help" with a qualified teacher from the Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy.
