This is the second year of a planned three year water quality monitoring project in the Columbia Basin. Year 1 successfully built a framework for water quality sampling and data storage and retrieval. In the second year of the project four more community based watershed groups will be added for a total of eight groups participating. Each watershed group will be designing and implementing education outreach activities to engage their communities. CBT is committed to facilitate partnerships to work cooperatively on Basin wide water related initiatives. CBT will provide $43 000 to support the Watershed Network Water Quality Monitoring project.
