The Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation of Canada will be hosting its annual science meeting on September 14/15 2012 at Centre 64. This event will serve to inform local resource managers about what is being done to restore whitebark pine and also provide the general public an opportunity to learn more about the ecological role of this species and the potential implications of its decline. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
